What you did by carrying the baby to full term was a very difficult but brave thing to do. I know it must have been hard a really hard decision to make at such a young age but it really was the best thing to do in your situation. You managed to get through the rough times and you didn’t let anyone bring you down. Even with all the people who do nothing but judge others, you still didn’t let them affect your decision. It must have been rough by having other students at your school tease you, make fun of you, and call you names, you managed to leave that out of your mind. Juno you are a very strong girl. By going through the pregnancy and having the baby be adopted by a couple who unfortunately couldn’t have one themselves was the best path to go down. The couple who was going to adopt the baby at the end of the 40 weeks seemed financially stable and were trustworthy for taking in a newborn and providing a safe and loving home for him to be raised in. By your wise decision, you completed the heart of a woman who has been wanting to be a mother for the longest time. The family appreciated it so much and you made them feel so happy and yourself as well because of your best interest you had at heart.
On the other hand, if you were to have gone in the opposite direction and come to a decision on having an abortion, that would have been totally acceptable since it’s your own body and no one else’s. With the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, women have the right to do anything they desire to do with their own body. Under the Bill of Rights, a woman has the right to terminate her pregnancy. Woman don’t have to listen to what anyone else has to say, even if they disagree with the idea of abortion. It isn’t for for anyone to deny someone’s personal, medical, and sexual rights to privacy. For example, if a women ended up getting raped by a man and resulted in an unwanted pregnancy, then she should be able to abort the fetus because she isn’t going to want to keep a baby the belongs to her rapist. It would just be too painful and emotional for her to deal with. I believe she should be able to have an abortion in that case. Abortion will lead to the women being harassed by those who disagree, but it is also the only solution there is for some.

In my opinion, I am neither for or against abortion. I believe it is up to each individual as to what they do with their body. I personally would not get an abortion if I were to end up pregnant.
